This piece depicts the frontal face of a bearded man. It belongs to the production of terracotta votive offerings from the Etruscan region, particularly prominent during the Hellenistic period and especially in the 3rd century BCE. Such works were often dedicated in sanctuaries and reflect the artistic and cultural traditions of ancient Etruria.
